Professor Terje Sagvolden, a highly accomplished neuroscientist, is remembered as a caring person, a kind considerate friend, and an innovative scientist with legendary enthusiasm about reinforcement and learning as an important focus for ADHD research. He pioneered collaborative, multidisciplinary research and forged links between basic and clinical researchers across different countries. As one of the founding members of Eunethydis, and a mentor of junior trainees, he believed strongly in collaboration, openness and willingness to share one's knowledge, insights and ideas in order to move science ahead. Thus, the Sagvolden Eunethydis Junior Travel Scholarship has been established to encourage junior investigators to share and develop their ideas within the collaborative and multidisciplinary membership of Eunethydis.
