J-EUNETHYDIS is the
international forum for early career ADHD researchers


Introduction

The J-EUNETHYDIS Conference will take place on Tuesday afternoon, 22nd May and on the morning of Wednesday 23rd May 2012, before the start of the main conference.

J-EUNETHYDIS is for ADHD researchers who are within 7 years of completing a relevant higher degree (e.g. PhD or equivalent) in clinical research.

The J-EUNETHYDIS Conference Programme will be built on oral presentations from abstracts selected by the Scientific Committee from the J-EUNETHYDIS submissions.

EUNETHYDIS is keen to support PhD students and clinical or post doctoral research fellows. To those who submit an abstract, we offer a reduced registration fee, to
J-EUNETHYDIS participants, to the main conference of €275.00

Abstracts are invited and prizes will be awarded for new work with particular novel significance in the field of ADHD.

Abstracts should be submitted in English in a Microsoft Word document format to:

info@eunethydisconference.com and clearly marked J-EUNETHYDIS. Please indicate if you do not wish to be considered for one of the prizes.

Deadline for submission: 29th February 2012


Abstracts should have a maximum of 250 words (excluding titles and references) and must include the following information:

Name of presenting author, if selected for oral presentation (should be the person who led the work)

The themes of the conference are as follows and abstracts should be submitted within these categories:

  • New frontiers in ADHD genetics
  • New perspectives on social environmental influences in ADHD
  • Latest developments in ADHD neuroscience
  • Emerging themes in ADHD co-morbidities
  • Diagnosis and assessment of ADHD
  • New trends in ADHD treatments

Abstracts which are not selected for oral presentations at the main conference or the J-EUNETHYDIS Conference may be selected to be poster presentations at the main conference.

Eunethydis is also keen to attract researchers at the start of their PhD studies as well as more experienced researchers. We therefore encourage people in their first or second year of PhD studies to submit posters setting out their plans and ideas – even if they do not yet have data. These will be invited for presentation at dedicated sessions with experienced researchers as discussants to facilitate valuable constructive feedback.

Places are limited to 150 participants. These will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, so please register early!
