Call for Abstracts (poster presentations)

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for the EUNETHYDIS 2nd International Conference poster presentations. We hope that this conference will become a premiere global forum for presenting new basic and clinical research in ADHD.

Deadline for abstract submission: 29th February 2012.

The abstract should be a maximum of 250 words (excluding including titles and references) and must include:

J-Eunethydis Abstracts (poster presentations)

Also, in keeping with Eunethydis' historical commitment to young researchers and clinicians, the programme includes time for presentations from students, post-docs and early career scientists and clinicians. The J-EUNETHYDIS conference will take place just before the main conference and will address the following themes:

  • New frontiers in ADHD genetics
  • New perspectives on social environmental influences in ADHD
  • Latest developments in ADHD neuroscience
  • Emerging themes in ADHD co-morbidities
  • Diagnosis and assessment of ADHD
  • New trends in ADHD treatments

Abstracts that are not successful for an oral presentation at the J-EUNETHYDIS Conference will be considered for poster presentations at the main conference.

It is hoped that new work, particularly that with novel significance for the field, will be presented and we invite you to submit abstracts in the following categories:

  1. Students and post-docs (self-explanatory)
  2. Early career scientists and clinicians - open to those who are under the age of 40 and who do not hold a position as chair (as of 31st January 2012)

Authors are requested to conform to guidelines for submission of abstracts. Please do not include any figures with your abstract. Abstracts not conforming to the guidelines will not be referred for review.

Abstracts will be reviewed by an expert panel and you will be notified, by email, of your abstract being accepted as a poster, or declined, by 1st March 2012. Details of the poster requirements will be supplied at this time.

Submission of the abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author/s to present the poster in the session and at the time decided by the Conference Committee. If the author/s is not available to present their poster, the author/s should nominate an alternative person.

With the transmission of the abstract, you transfer the Copyright of the Abstract to the EUNETHYDIS 2nd International Conference who is authorised to publish it in print or digital media.
